Visit the Brandy Route and the Wine Route
This is usual tour of the Gonzalez Byass Bodegas and lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes

The first part of the tour is by train and includes:
  • Visit to the gardens of the Villa Victorina
  • Visit to the vines planted to demostrate the entire cycle of the wine making process
  • Visit to the bodegas where we store our Lepanto Brandy,our most international brand
  • Visit to the old "Alquitaras" used for the distillation of wine.
  • Visit to the cooperage.
The second part of the tour is a walk through the oldest part of the bodega and includes:
  • Bodega la Concha,designed by Gustave Eiffel
  • An audio-visual presentation of the history of the wines oj Jerez
  • Visit to the Los Apostoles Bodega, containing casks which are over 300 years old.
  • The Laboratory of the founder which has been maintained exactly as it was upon his death in 1887
  • Bodega Los Reyes,where was store a selection of wines for the Royal Family.
  • Observation of our famous wine-drinking mice.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to sample some of our most famous brands of wine and purchase our products in the Tio Pepe shop.

We offer guided tours in Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, English, German, Italian and French. The time of the Tours is opne for agencies throughout the year. We are open every day.

Wine tasting is the manner to appreciate wine, discovering its qualities and defects using the sentences of sight,taste and smell.

In our wine tasting we can sample, comment and appreciate the 9 different types of Jerez wines from our own bodegas. These range from the youngest (Mosto, pungent with a hint of sherry), to fine pungent sherry (Tio Pepe and Alfonso) ending with our VORS wines which are over 30 years old. (Amonillado de Duque, Palo Cortado Apostoles, Oloroso Dulce Matusalem and Pedro Ximenez Noe).

Enjoy our bodegas in the evenings with this special and exclusive tour which provides visitors with a unique look at our bodegas, making a visit to Gonzalez&Byass a trip back the 19th century.

Durong this tour we offer yoa a selection of aperitifs in the gardens of the bodegas.

The art of sherry pouring. This ancient art is typical in our bodegas, in which by pouring the sherry into the tasting glass, it produces its full range of aromas and flavour. Especially for those with a particular interest in sherry, we can introduce, guided by our experts, our visitors into this ancient art.
isit to the Grapevines
We also offer the possibility of visiting our vineyards located some 15 minutes from the bodega. Gonzalez&Byass has 810 hectares of vineyards with facilities provided for all types of events.

At the vineyards we will explain the traditional tasks involved in wine growing.

At the museum you can see the different types of soil, grapes as well as the tools and implements currently used. This visit lasts approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Gonzalez&Byass offers you the opportunity to complete your Tour to our facilities with a selection of quality aperitifs.

We will organise for you a grape harvest and the traditional grape pressing as it was performed in past centuries.
isit with Zambomba Jerezana (Christmas)
At Christmas time, Gonzalez&Byass organises a special Flamenco Christmas celebration, traditional to Jerez: the "Zambomba".

This is a pleasant and enjoyable festival which transports the visitor to the traditions of old Jerez with a spectacle of Flamenco singing and dancing accompanied by the typical Christmas sweets from the area and, of course, our sherry.

The Andalusian Romeria is one of the most popular and purely native fiestas of Andalucia. The participants can travel on horseback, in a Charrés (a horse-drawn country carriage with 5 seats) or larger carriages with 25 seats. What is a Rengue? This is a stop to rest and especially to eat and drink the traditional dishes of the region. Three rengues are made during the trip.
